PS Waverley makes first visit of the season to Rothesay - Webmaster @ 09:03 GMT

The paddle steamer PS Waverley (the world’s last operating ocean-going paddle steamer) has paid its first visit of the season to Rothesay. 2007 is the steamer's Diamond Jubilee year, and the main Clyde season begins on June 15 and runs until the end of August.

Naming ceremony for Bute's second new ferry, MV Argyle - Webmaster @ 08:32 GMT
In glorious sunshine, Bute's second new ferry, MV Argyle had its official naming cermony in Rothesay Bay on Friday 4th May. After the ceremony, the ship took dignitaries on a short circulary trip into the Clyde, returning to Rothesay by mid-afternoon. The vessel then went into service immediately.
