Wednesday, July 19, 2006 HRH Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, to visit the Isle of Bute
- Webmaster @ 11:56 GMTBute Agricultural Society is pleased to announce that its 200th Anniversary Show on 2nd August, in the Showfield, High Street, Rothesay, will be honoured by a visit from H.R.H. Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay. His Royal Highness will arrive mid morning to be welcomed by the President of Bute Agricultural Society Mr Robert Kennedy, and will be shown around the show rings and Domestic marquee before departing for lunch in Rothesay Castle. Monday, July 17, 2006 Restoration of Ardencraig Victorian Greenhouses to commence shortly.
- Webmaster @ 14:10 GMTA full restoration of Rothesay’s renowned Victorian Greenhouses at Ardencraig, and costing close to half a million pounds, has been given the go-ahead. The Gardens, together with aviaries and water features, are one of the key visitor attractions on the Isle of Bute, and its nursery features in many horticultural brochures. Thursday, July 13, 2006 ButeLive Festival this weekend (14th-16th)
