- Webmaster @ 14:17 GMTThe Bute Highland Games took place at the Public Stadium, Rothesay, this past weekend (Saturday 21st) in wall-to-wall sunshine. Organisers are delighted with the turnout, with crowds estimated at over 5 000. The final band processions down High Street at the conclusion of the event, with the sun setting over the town, were cheered enthusiastically by throngs of onlookers. Altogether a superb Games, and a wonderful day’s entertainment.
